Oliver Glasner has started to show the rest of the Premier League just what he’s able to do with his current crop of Crystal Palace players.
The Austrian was something of an unknown quantity when he replaced Roy Hodgson at Selhurst Park, but he’s already coming into his own with a special brand of football being played by his side at present.
Liverpool were beaten at Anfield whilst Man United, Newcastle United and West Ham United have all recently been taken care of at Selhurst Park.
Palace could allow Marc Guehi to leave this summer
If he’s backed in the transfer market this summer, there’s no ceiling to what Glasner can achieve, though it will arguably require the club to hold onto their most prized possessions.
According to Give Me Sport sources, the club would seemingly accept an offer for £50m-rated England international, Marc Guehi, if it means they don’t have to sell either Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze.
Guehi, who the Daily Mirror have linked with a switch to Man United, has two years left on his Palace contract.
Marc Guehi could leave Crystal PalaceHaving only just returned from injury Guehi hasn’t yet had the chance to impress his new manager, and that may be part of the reason why Glasner is willing to offload the player.
In so doing, it would give him more money to play with in the summer transfer market which can’t be downplayed. Particularly if the Eagles are able to maximise Guehi’s value to any interested parties.

With only two games left to play of the current campaign, a decision is likely to be made in the near future.
If Glasner is to begin the 2024/25 season in the manner he’s finishing 2023/24, then there’s little point in delaying transfer decisions on players.
With Guehi expected to aim for a place in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the European Championship, time is of the essence for Glasner.
