Manchester United are on the lookout for a new centre-back following Raphael Varane’s exit.
Erik ten Hag’s side leaked too many goals after suffering an array of injuries which depleted his defence for most of the campaign.
It’s no wonder that a centre-back will be a high priority for the Reds when the transfer window opens on June 14.
Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi has been linked with a move to United for over a year, and this could be the summer for him to leave Selhurst Park.
According to The Mirror, Palace are ‘resigned’ to selling Guehi this summer.
This will be music to United’s ears if our long-standing interest materialises into a formal offer.
Until then it’s only mere speculation.

It is reported that Guehi is valued at around £50 million, which could make him a cheaper option than Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite.
The transfer speculation is about to step up a level or two once the Champions League final is out of the way this week. Then it will be a matter of United being linked with every Tom, Dick and Harry again.
Guehi is the second Palace player being linked with a move to United this summer. The other is Michael Olise, who has a habit for scoring belters against us.
