Crystal Palace set to sack Roy Hodgson and line up replacement boss who has won the Europa League

Crystal Palace are set to sack Roy Hodgson, talkSPORT understands.

The Eagles are stepping up their interest in former Frankfurt boss Olivier Glasner in readiness for Hodgson's departure.

Chairman Steve Parish ideally wanted Hodgson to remain in charge until his contact expires in the summer but his hand has been forced after a dismal run of three wins in 19 games. 

Austrian Glasner has managed four different teams over a ten-year period, last managing German side Eintracht Frankfurt.

Glasner guided Frankfurt to Europa League glory in his first season in charge where they beat Rangers on penalties in the final.
