Crystal Palace will demand at least £50m for Marc Guehi, with Liverpool and Manchester United both interested in a summer move for the centre-back.
The 23-year-old has been impressive for the Eagles since signing from Chelsea in 2021, already racking up over 100 appearances for Palace.
He has also done enough to catch the eye of England manager Gareth Southgate, earning nine caps for his country so far and hoping to recover from injury in time to make it into the squad for the European Championship this summer.
It could be a big summer for Guehi, with a big move away from Selhurst Park on the cards as both Liverpool and Manchester United are considering a move for him.
He has also been linked with Arsenal and Tottenham in the past, but the Reds and Red Devils now appear to be at the head of queue for his signature.
The Telegraph report that Crystal Palace would expect to receive more than £50m for one of their star players, especially given the level of club interested in signing him.
Manchester United paid £50m for Aaron Wan-Bissaka in 2019, still the Eagles’ record sale, but they would expect to top that five years later.
Guehi is under contract at Selhurst Park until 2026 and seems extremely unlikely that he will still be at the club beyond then, so Palace will be keen to cash in on him while they can for most profit.
It will certainly be a substantial profit on the £18m they paid for Guehi from Chelsea three years ago.
Before any summer transfer business, the defender will be looking to recover fromthe knee injury which is currently keeping him out of action.
Guehi had surgery last week on the issue he picked up a month ago after complications in his recovery.
He is set to be out for around six weeks, so still has hopes of featuring this season and at Euro 2024.
