Cynthia Erivo‘s long nails are a signature part of her style and she was just asked an “annoying” question about them by Dax Shepard. The 37-year-old Wicked actress was a guest on the latest episode of Dax‘s podcast Armchair Expert and he wanted to know how Cynthia is able to wipe her backside with those nails. “I knew you would ask that question,” Cynthia said. Despite being “annoyed” by the question, Cynthia still answered. Keep reading to find out more… “My answer is that nobody uses just their fingers to wipe their backside. You use tissue, correct? And you wipe!” Cynthia said. She added that she puts the tissue paper on the “pads of the fingers” and not the tip of the fingernails. Dax asked Cynthia if she was offended or annoyed by the interrogation. “I’m annoyed by it. I’m, like, ‘Come on, guys.’ But I get it, but it’s also, like, ‘I’m a functioning adult, and I’ve never walked around smelling like, you know…’” Cynthia said. “Here’s the thing, there are people who do not have nails who need to check how they’re wiping.” Watch the full interview below.
