Nigerian singer D’ Banj has tendered an apology to the former members of Mo’ Hits Records.

Mo’ Hits Records was a Nigerian-based music record label owned by D’banj and Don Jazzy.

It was founded in 2006. The label also signed artistes like Wande Coal, Dr SID, D’Prince, and K- switch.

But in March 2012, Don Jazzy announced that D’banj had left the group.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Koko Master revealed that he will be putting out a track that “is dear to my heart” on Friday.

The singer also reminisced about his years in the music industry and the people who contributed to his growth.

D’banj praised his former Mo’ Hits mates for their achievements together over the years.

He also said he was done “blame gaming” while apologizing to former label mates to forgive him, “If you feel I wronged you at any time”.

“Next week Friday, I’m dropping a track that is dear to my heart. It might be the best track of my career so far. Been at this game since ‘04,” he wrote in a statement.

“When I look back at my journey as your favourite entertainer, many names pop up in my mind for their various contributions to D’banj. Today, I celebrate Mo’ Hits.. the group and our team.

“What a SOLID team we had. Don Jazzy, Wande Coal, Dr. Sid, D’Prince and Kay Switch. My brothers were piping hot!! Together we elevated this game and showed them things that could happen.

“I’ve spent many years focusing on the blame game but I’m not playing that game anymore. If you feel I wronged you at anytime, forgive me.

“The philosopher in me is grateful
