Dairy Queen just introduced the new Crunchin’ Cookie Dipped Cone, featuring a hard shell with a cookies ‘n cream taste. While the dip is only meant to be served on cones, people on TikTok have been sharing a bunch of hacks! The Crunchin’ Cookie parfait has gone viral, with the sundae featuring three layers of the dip between two layers of vanilla ice cream and Oreo cookie crumbles. People have also put the dip into blizzards, which has gotten rave reviews. Some people online have said that their Dairy Queen locations won’t allow the dip to be used on anything but a cone. One employee is now explaining why that’s happening. Keep reading to find out more… Michigan-based Dairy Queen manager Miranda, who has 2.2 million followers on her TikTok page, posted an explanation. “Technically, our new Crunchin’ Cookie dip is just that, a cone dip. It wasn’t really meant to be used as a topping for other products. That being said, there have been some viral videos showing this cone dip in a parfait or a blizzard or a sundae, or really anything but a cone. Personally, I’ll make your ice cream however you want it because you’re paying for it and I just want my customers to be satisfied. Even though there is not technically a button on the register for this parfait, it’s not that hard to modify, and it’s not like it’s any harder to make,” she said. Miranda continued, “I’m seeing some comments from people saying their location won’t make it and honestly, that just has to do with the logistics of the promotion. Owners and operators had to pre-order this flavor back in October of 2024 and the promotion is supposed to run through September 1st. There was no way for anyone to know that this was going to be a viral product and unfortunately there is no way for us to purchase more of it.
