The Sarah Snook-led and executive-produced Peacock series All Her Fault has added Emmy-nominee Dakota Fanning (Ripley, The Equalizer 3) and Abby Elliott (The Bear, Saturday Night Live). Jake Lacy, Sophia Lillis and Michael Peña also star. Shooting in Australia is set to begin imminently.
Adapted from the best-selling novel of the same name by Andrea Mara, All Her Fault opens on a plausibly terrifying situation that eventually unearths the deep secrets of a community. Marissa Irvine (Snook) arrives at 14 Arthur Avenue, expecting to pick up her young son Milo from his first playdate with a boy at his new school. But the woman who answers the door isn’t a mother she recognizes. She isn’t the nanny. She doesn’t have Milo. And so begins every parent’s worst nightmare.
In series regular roles, Fanning will play “Jenny” and Elliott will play “Lia.”
Megan Gallagher (Wolf) serves as writer, creator and executive producer. Minkie Spiro (3 Body Problem) is set to direct the first episode, among others, and executive produce. EPs also include Nigel Marchant, Gareth Neame and Joanna Strevens for producer Carnival Films (The Day of the Jackal), Jennifer Gabler Rawlings and Christine Sacani, producer Terry Gould and associate producer, Andrea Mara, who wrote the novel All Her Fault. Universal International Studio, a division of Universal Studio Group, is the studio.
