Dakota Kai faced her share of ups and downs in recent times. This included her unfortunate ACL injury last year but now the Damage CTRL member has confirmed that she is very close to making her in-ring return.

Dakota Kai has history of injuries, and this time, it’s an ACL injury that required surgery for repair. She suffered the injury back in May last year while trying to save Liv Morgan and has since been rehabbing her injury.

Despite the injury, she has continued to make appearances on WWE programming alongside her stablemates in Damage CTRL, including Bayley, IYO SKY, Kairi Sane, and Asuka. Dakota Kai also recently stated that she was uncertain about her in-ring return.

While speaking with Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture, Dakota Kai mentioned that she was wearing heels for the first time since her injury. This was seen as a positive sign, indicating she is one step closer to returning to the ring.

Yeah, one step. We’re so close. We’re so close, you guys.”

Dakota Kai was also happy about Bayley winning the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event at the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. We will have to wait and see whether she wilt making her in-ring return.
