Dakota Kai recently made a triumphant return to the ring after recovering from torn ACL suffered in May 2023. Despite receiving clearance to resume action, she remains committed to maintaining the strength and resilience she developed during her rehabilitation process, especially focusing on dynamic movement and overall mindfulness.
In an interview with Bill Pritchard of WrestleZone recorded during WrestleMania XL weekend, Kai emphasized the importance of consistency and mindfulness in her post-injury routine. Even after being cleared to wrestle, she prioritizes staying on top of her rehabilitation regimen, ensuring she remains healthy and strong.
“In terms of my rehab and stuff, even after I’ve been cleared to wrestle, I still want to stay on top of that, and if that means just doing the same things I did while I was rehabbing in terms of working out and certain things. Dynamic movements and stuff, just taking the time to actually do that so I do stay on top of it and stay healthy. That’s the main thing.”
Her dedication to maintaining her physical well-being underscores her commitment to longevity and excellence in the ring. Despite setbacks, Kai remains focused on her goals and continues to push herself to be the best athlete she can be.
