Manchester United have collected another three points in the Premier League and for the first time in a long time, it was not a nervy ending as Erik ten Hag’s men cruised to a 3-0 victory over West Ham on Sunday afternoon.

David Moyes’ men were far from easily turned over, however, as the Hammers put up quite the fight at Old Trafford but United’s second goal on the day, coming through Alejandro Garnacho, sealed the deal and allowed the Reds to see the game out.

It was Garnacho who was a constant thorn in West Ham’s side, with the young Argentinian marking the affair with a memorable brace.

Rasmus Hojlund opened the scoring on his birthday, ensuring he has now scored in all of his last four Premier League appearances.

Man United Player Ratings

Andre Onana – 7

Stopped everything that came his way.

Diogo Dalot – 8

Seems to be the first-choice right-back now and that’s justified. Continues to move infield when United are in possession to offer an extra man. Completed a sensational last-ditch tackle on Jarrod Bowen, almost certainly stopping the England winger from halving West Ham’s deficit.

Harry Maguire – 8

Back in the side in place of Raphael Varane and he, as he was before his untimely injury, continued to perform with confidence.

Lisandro Martinez – 8

His influence on the team is there for everyone to see. A nervy couple of days ahead as he was brought off with what looked like a knee injury.

Luke Shaw – 8

The final piece of United’s best backline at the moment. Hugely important to the side.

Casemiro – 7

It will take some time before it’s noticed but his return cannot be overlooked. Hugely significant for the rest of the season.

Kobbie Mainoo – 7

What a whirlwind couple of months for the youngster. Some talent United have on their hands.

Alejandro Garnacho – 9

On the left, on the right – it doesn’t matter. Two goals on the day and he could’ve had more. Better decision-making at times and United would have scored two or three more.

Bruno Fernandes – 8

The heartbeat of the side.

Marcus Rashford – 7

Has returned from an awkward situation in good form.

Rasmus Hojlund – 8

In great form at the moment and his confidence is there for everyone to see.
