Millie Bobby Brown is once again reigning over Netflix with her latest project.
Her new film Damsel recorded 35.3M views in just three days of availability, easily boosting it to the top of the English film charts (and taking the crown as the most-watched title of the week) from March 4 to March 10.
The film, also starring Robin Wright and Angela Bassett, is No. 1 in 79 countries, according to Netflix. It had more than three times the viewership of the No. 2 movie, Code 8: Part II — which was at the top of the list last week.
Also among the Top 10 films were Spaceman, which held firm at No. 3 with 10.8M views, and Tyler Perry’s Mea Culpa, which ranked No. 5 with 5.1M views.
Over on the TV side of things, The Gentlemen took first place with 12.2M views. Avatar: The Last Airbender, which was recently renewed for two more seasons, stole second place with 9.1M views.
There is still a chance that Avatar might break onto the most popular list before its premiere window ends, but viewership is declining fairly rapidly since its debut. That’s pretty typical for shorter series where all episodes are released at once, since audiences tend to binge in the first few days of release.
It now has about 50M views, meaning it would need just over 30M more to surpass The Witcher Season 1, which is currently sitting in 10th place.
As for the rest of the list? True crime and reality dating series were the most desired fare this week, it seems. The Program: Cons, Cults and Kidnapping entered the list in third place with 7.1M views, and American Conspiracy: The Octopus Murders took No. 7 with 2.4M views.
Season 6 of Love is Blind spent its fourth week on the list in fifth place with 3.4M views, while One Day followed in sixth place in its fifth week on the list with 3.1M views.
