Daniel Garcia reveals who helped him pick up momentum again in AEW following the breakup of the Jericho Appreciation Society.
All Elite Wrestling‘s Daniel Garcia recently sat down with Denise Salcedo. When asked if there’s anyone backstage who has helped him reach new heights and gain confidence in himself, Garcia pointed directly to Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, otherwise known as FTR.
“I think the person who has helped me the most in AEW as far as advice and things like that has been FTR. FTR has been amazing to me,” Daniel Garcia said. “When I was kind of like floundering after the JAS stuff I really didn’t know what was going to be the next move for me. I was kind of confused, I didn’t know what to do. It was their idea of, ‘Hey, you should come on Collision. We think we could have something for you over here.’
“And I went on Collision and that’s when I started the Continental Classic run. And I started to really pick up momentum in my career again for the first time in probably like a year at that point. I owe so much to FTR. They’re amazing people. They’ve helped me so much and they continue to help me a lot. So I’ll forever be grateful to them. That’s my answer for sure, FTR has helped me the most.”
