Having arrived on the Roma bench last January after the departure of José Mourinho, Daniele de Rossi had a great second half of the season which convinced the members of the management to trust him for the longer term. The former iconic midfielder extends his contract until 2027.

The information has just been made official by La Louve, confirming the statements made by the owners on April 18. “AS Roma is pleased to formalize the renewal of Daniele De Rossi’s contract as technical director of the first team until 2027.” De Rossi, now 40, wore the Giallorosso jersey 616 times during his playing career.
