EXCLUSIVE: Veteran Gersh talent agent Danielle Schoenberg is transitioning to management, joining Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment as a Partner.
Schoenberg worked in the talent department at Gersh for nearly fifteen years, starting on the desk of Bob Gersh, before becoming a comedy crossover agent.
At Gersh, she developed a specialty in working with multi-hyphenates, something she plans to continue to do so as a manager at Odenkirk Provissiero where her writer and performer clients include Anna Konkle (Pen15), Frankie Quiñones (This Fool), Sasheer Zamata (SNL), Brooks Wheelan (SNL), Stephanie Allynne (The L Word), Saagar Shaikh (Ms. Marvel), Nichole Sakura (Superstore), and Jessy Hodges (Barry).
At Odenkirk Provissiero, founded in 2009 by Naomi Odenkirk and Marc Provissiero, Schoenberg joins fellow partners DC Wade, Tiffany Schloesser, and Lucas Kosoglad.
“I started sharing clients with Naomi and Marc when I first became an agent and have admired their taste and care with which they manage their clients from that point on,” said Shoenberg. “I feel very lucky to be joining this team.”
Said Odenkirk and Provissiero, “Danielle is an incredibly thoughtful and talented rep, with fantastic taste in talent. She’s always felt like family to us — we are thrilled to have her join our team.”
Odenkirk Provissiero’s roster of talent includes six-time Emmy nominee Bob Odenkirk, and recent Emmy winners Tim Robinson and Ayo Edebiri, with the latter winning a 2024 Golden Globe as well. The company most recently produced the Critics Choice Award-nominated Sony feature No Hard Feelings starring Jennifer Lawrence.
