WWE referee Daphanie LaShaunn became the first female to officiate the main event of WWE RAW on Monday, and she commented on the news.

The November 11 episode of WWE RAW was headlined by a tag team match where Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair defended the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan. Daphanie LaShaunn officiated the match, and in doing so , she became the first woman to referee the main event of WWE RAW.

In a tweet, WWE referee Daphanie LaShaunn commented on making history on Monday night.

“My first time officiating a RAW main event on television,” she wrote. “years of working hard, never complaining, and keeping a positive mindset. If you get anything from my journey, know you can achieve anything you want if you put the work behind it.”
