Darby Allin is back with a vengeance.
Darby Allin suffered a broken foot in March, and a few weeks later, he got hit by a bus. Allin returned ahead of schedule and replaced Eddie Kingston in the Anarchy in the Arena match at AEW Dynamite or Nothing. During the bout, the Young Bucks superkicked Allin, who was still recovering from a broken nose. Allin was then reportedly given some time off to heal up.
On the July 10 episode of AEW Dynamite, Darby Allin made his return. He attacked Brandon Cutler backstage and quoted Jack Perry’s line about making sacrifices. Allin then called out The Elite by saying that their war was far from over. He brought up the July 17 episode and said that they were just getting started.
