One of the biggest risk-takers in professional wrestling is Darby Allin. The former AEW TNT Champion takes huge risks by jumping from great heights. Recently, Allin shared the craziest risk that he had taken both inside and outside the ring.

Allin was recently interviewed by Denise Salcedo. During the interview, The Daredevil of AEW looked back on the time that he took a Jeep and jumped it 96 feet over his house. Allin also mentioned that while doing so, AEW President Tony Khan was on FaceTime with him trying to convince him not to do the jump. Other than that, the most craziest thing that he is yet to do is climbing Mount Everest.

A whole new level of sketchy

“So, outside the ring, I would say taking a Jeep and jumping 96 feet over my house off that big jump. I remember I did it two years ago. Tony Khan actually was on FaceTime. He was trying to talk me out of it. He heard that I was possibly going to break my back doing it. So he’s all like, ‘Hey man, can we give you a stunt double?’ I’m like, ‘I couldn’t live with myself if I had a stunt double.’ So what I did… I jumped over it. He was on FaceTime.

“Right when I landed in those mobile home trailers, first thing I did is I jumped out and the very first thing I said to Tony, ‘I can make it Wednesday to Dynamite. I’m good.’ So he was really relieved. I felt like that was pretty sketchy. But I feel like, coming up is going to be the most sketchiest thing I’ve ever done is Mount Everest. That’s going to be a whole new level of sketchy. But… Screw it,” Darby Allin said.
