Daria Berenato, formerly known as Sonya Deville in WWE, is speaking on her recent non renewed contract for the first time. She open’s up on her new podcast with her wife Toni which is called Unwrapped. Berenato says she was in the middle of the negotiations for a new contract and was shocked to get the call of her non renewal. She worked with the company for ten years.
As Daria and Toni get into the discussion, Toni expected Daria to be with the company forever. Daria explained that she was not given a reason for the non renewed contract, says she has nothing but love for the company and the people in it, and understands the business aspect of the decision.
Although she was shocked at first, Daria said she accepted it almost instantly. The couple explained that Daria’s dream as a kid was not to wrestle. She fell in love with the business, but she has always want to be an actress. She explains she has booked her first major film project just one week before she was called about the non renewed contract with WWE.
