Dave Mason has canceled his Traffic Jam Tour due to health and will not be able to continue his stage appearances this fall.

“I’m heartbroken to have to cancel these dates, but it’s Doctor’s orders. I’ll be back, and better than ever, in 2025,” Mason said in a statement posted on his website.

The statement said, “We are sorry to inform you Dave Mason has a serious heart condition detected in a routine appointment that requires immediate attention. His team of doctors has advised against all tour activity and therefore we have cancelled his fall tour. Please contact the point of sale for refunds.”

“We are expecting a successful recovery from heart surgery in time,” the statement continued. “Please join us in wishing Dave Mason very good wishes while he undergoes treatment and we look forward to resuming his touring in 2025.”
