EXCLUSIVE: Bleiberg Entertainment has acquired the international rights to crime thriller The Perfect Gamble, starring David Arquette (Scream), and Daniella Pick Tarantino.

The film is currently in post-production and will be presented to international distributors at the upcoming American Film Market in Las Vegas in November. The film will be released by Saban Films in the U.S. in the first quarter of 2025.

The Perfect Gamble tells the story of two best friends who get out of jail in New York City and relocate to the country of Georgia where they open an underground casino. The lines get blurred once the Russian mob gets involved and the duo need to figure out a way to keep their hustle going while staying alive. Pick Tarantino plays Sonia, a street smart woman with a mysterious past who begins a relationship with Charlie, played by Arquette.

Model and singer Pick Tarantino, the wife of Quentin Tarantino, is taking on her biggest screen role to date with the project.

Pic is directed by Danny A. Abeckaser and written by Kosta Kondilopoulos, who both worked together as director and writer on The Engineer and Inside Man. Producers are Abeckaser for 2B Films, in partnership with Yoav Gross and Rinati Rokach.

Abeckaser said: “Working with Arquette and Daniella Pick Tarantino has been a pleasure, and I can’t wait for people to see them together in the high-stakes underground casino environment where their characters can’t seem to catch their breath amidst mob bosses vying for control. The Perfect Gamble is a thrill ride about the gamble of life and death. It’s about self-preservation at its finest.”

“We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to represent this film. Arquette shines as always and his chemistry with Daniella Pick Tarantino in this film is electrifying. These are two actors who have a true passion and joy for their craft and we can’t wait to bring a project that showcases that to buyers and audiences alike.” said Ariel Bleiberg, Head of Acquisitions and Development at Bleiberg.
