David Beckham can’t believe his luck at Inter Miami – and Lionel Messi could collect another trophy

David Beckham could not hide his delight with how things are going at Inter Miami and Lionel Messi could soon give them more reason to celebrate.

The Englishman recently drafted Luis Suarez into the club, which now means they have recruited four ex-Barcelona players.

Former Liverpool and Barcelona hero Suarez joined on a one-year deal as he looks to help his new side to glory.

Beckham uploaded a post to Instagram showing their quartet of big name stars.

Messi could be seen alongside Suarez, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba who are all now plying their trade with the Major League Soccer side.

The caption read: "I Mean 🔥 @intermiamicf @leomessi @luissuarez9 @5sergiob @jordialbaoficial"

The new MLS season gets underway on February 21, with Inter Miami taking on Real Salt Lake, and Beckham will be hoping his team gets their hands on the title.

Messi is also hoping to get his hands on yet another accolade on Monday night at the FIFA Best Awards in London.

The World Cup winner secured the trophy last year, which made it his seventh top award win in 14 years, breaking the record he tied with six-time Best Women’s Player, Marta from Brazil.

He managed to beat Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland, and he is aiming to do the same again this time around.

During 2022, Messi secured the Ligue 1 title and Super Cup with PSG, along with the Finalissma and World Cup with Argentina.

The seven-time Ballon d'Or winner also bagged 25 goals and managed 29 assists.
