David Beckham is joining longtime friend Prince William on a royal visit! The 49-year-old retired soccer pro and the 42-year-old Duke of Cambridge checked out the two new London Air Ambulance Charity helicopters during a visit at RAF Northolt on Tuesday (Oct. 1) in Ruislip, England. During their visit, David and William checked out the insides of the two new H135 helicopters, which are expected to provide life-saving care to patients across London. They also met with the medical and pilot crews from London’s Air Charity Ambulance, which William is a patron of. The visit celebrated the end of a three-year fundraising appeal to purchase new helicopters. The “Up Against Time” campaign “raised £16 million for the new aircraft, which will allow the charity to continue its vital work of responding to medical emergencies as quickly as possible,” according to Us Weekly. William recently returned to royal duties after taking some time off for the summer to spend time with wife Kate Middleton and their children. In a new interview, David teased what fans can expect from wife Victoria Beckham‘s upcoming Netflix docu-series.
