IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion David Finlay doesn’t think that Tony Khan is brave enough to face him.
In an interview with NJPW’s website, David Finlay was asked about Wrestle Kingdom and Wrestle Dynasty. He was asked about whether the War Dogs will keep recruiting. Finlay also commented on how he had an idea of wrestling Tony Khan for his money.
“War Dogs is always about recruiting,” David Finlay said. I’m always looking at opportunities and people to add to our arsenal. As for Tokyo Dome, whether it’s at Wrestle Kingdom, or with AEW the next night, I’ll be walking in as champion and walking out as champion.
“I had the brief idea of wrestling Tony Khan in a Dog Pound Cage Match for all of his money, but I doubt he’s brave enough. I’ve beaten all there is to beat, so I have no issues.”
