Davido’s father donates N1 billion to C&S centenary in honor of late mother’s Nnena

Adedeji Adeleke, the father of popular Afrobeat singer, Davido on Sunday donated one billion naira to the Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim, on behalf of his late mother, Nnena Adeleke.

TheNewsGuru. com (TNG) reports that the singer, his father and uncle, Ademola Adeleke, who’s the Governor of Osun State attended a the much delayed thanksgiving service at the headquarters of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church in Lagos in memory of Esther Adeleke.

Esther, known as (nee Akpara) was the founder of C&S church in Ede.

She hailed from Akwete, Ukwa East Local Government Area of Abia State.

The Osun State governor during a short remark, affirmed his faith in God, vowing to use all available platforms to praise and worship the creator of heaven and earth.

The governor who spoke on behalf of the family recounted the many divine favours of God on the Adeleke family, his life and his successes so far as governor.

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his Ogun State counterpart Dapo Abiodun attended the thanksgiving programme.

Others who joined the Adeleke family were Osun State Deputy Governor Kola Adewusi; wives of Governor Adeleke, Titilayo Adeleke and Ngozi Adeleke; chief of staff to Governor Adeleke, Kazeem Akinleye; House Speaker, Adewale Egbedun; head of service, Ayanleye Aina; members of the State House of Assembly; members of the state executive council; and media entrepreneur, Dele Momodu.
