WWE has a lot of things on the schedule, and NXT fans were thrilled to find out that the brand will finally take over the old ECW Arena for a special show. The company is going to make it a special night for one former ECW star as well.
NXT is coming to Philly on Wednesday, November 6th at the 2300 Arena. That will be quite a big show for the brand, and not just because it will be on a Wednesday.
During NXT Halloween Havoc, General Manager Ava said that she is still working on the card for NXT at the 2300 Arena. She then announced that a very special match has been confirmed for the card. Lola Vice and Jadia Parker will battle in a hardcore match, but they will also have a very special referee with ECW ties.
Dawn Marie will be on hand to special referee that match. Just the mention of her name got a pop from the Hersey, Pennsylvania crowd during the premium live event. This will be a big return to the ECW Arena for Dawn Marie.
Dawn Marie’s final match as a competitor took place on August 23, 2008, at the Women’s Superstars United/National Wrestling Superstars Belleville Brawl event. She faced Trixie Lynn in a match that ended in a no contest. We will have to see how things pan out for her in the 2300 Arena on November 6th.
We will have more coverage of this story, and so much more, as NXT continues booking their ECW Arena show. This will be a big night of pro wrestling, with NXT wanting to continue impressing fans along the way.
