Saving the world on a regular basis would make anyone work up quite the appetite—so it’s a good thing that Batman and Superman are now buddies with celebrity chef Guy Fieri, known for his popular Food Network series including Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. The evidence of this super-charged friendship can be plainly seen on the new “celebrity cameo” variant of DC‘s Batman/Superman: World’s Finest #37, drawn by Dan Mora and releasing tomorrow.

Please note: Superman enjoying a burger, and Batman sipping what looks like a green milkshake. Multi-tasking!
“The Mayor of Flavortown” is the latest celebrity icon to be featured on a variant cover in this particular DC series, which has previously given the honor to Nicolas Cage, William Shatner, Paul McCartney, and others. While Fieri is best known for his TV gigs and flamboyant personal style, as well as an array of restaurants specializing in over-the-top cuisine (three words: Trash Can Nachos), he’s also put his carb-laden earnings toward a lot of good causes, including helping restaurant workers who faced financial struggles during the pandemic, and most recently raising money for hospitality workers affected by the Los Angeles fires.
So, yes, his hair choices can be as cheesy as those nachos. But maybe he’s not so out of place with Batman and Superman?
You can pre-order Batman/Superman: World’s Finest #37 now, or just wait till tomorrow to pick it up at your local comics shop or favorite digital retailer.
