For the debut of Daniele De Rossi after the sidelining of José Mourinho, AS Roma relaunched in Serie A by beating Hellas Verona (2-1) on Saturday evening at home.

Thanks to Romelu Lukaku, scorer on a shift from Stephan El Shaarawy (19th) then author of the cross on the 2-0 signed Lorenzo Pellegrini (25th), AS Rome beat Hellas Verona (2-1), Saturday evening at Stadio Olimpico, on behalf of the 21st day of Serie A.

Daniele De Rossi’s premiere is therefore a success, a few days after his induction following the sidelining of José Mourinho. The Giallorossi, who were left with two defeats and a draw, moved up to 8th position ahead of Napoli (who are playing the final of the Italian Super Cup in Saudi Arabia on Monday). They will try to continue against Salernitana.

The Veronese restarted the match in the second half. After a missed penalty from Milan Djuric (64th), Michael Folorunsho scored a nice goal (77th). In vain. The Gialloblu remain 18th and first in relegation.
