Shawn Levy arrives at the 76th Directors Guild of America awards at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, Getty
Deadpool 3 filmmaker Shawn Levy won’t utter a peep about the prequel for fear of death.
And that boils down to if the trailer drops tomorrow during the Super Bowl.
All he had to say about that rumor was “I’ve heard that too.”
We caught up with Levy on the red carpet of the DGA Awards.
On why Levy needs to remain mum about the Marvel Studios’ threequel.
“I so cherish my friendship with Ryan Reynolds and it would be so sad if it ended in murder. And if I answered you with anything Deadpool related, it would end with my untimely death, and that would be so sad,” Levy quipped.
What Levy did concede to us on the DGA red carpet was that he’s reteaming with Reynolds on the movie Boy Band set up at Paramount under the comedic actor’s new reupped first-look feature deal.
While the plot is under wraps, Levy would direct in his fourth collaboration with Reynolds off a script written by the Deadpool star and Jesse Andrews.
Beamed Levy tonight, “We love working together, we feel like we get each other, we make each other better. Boy Band is one of the few movies we’re talking about for our future collaborations.”
Deadpool 3 will open in theaters on July 26.
