Dean Huijsen arrives in Bournemouth

It’s the end of a saga that has long interested PSG. Eager to see the young central defender land to bring him into the rotation, the capital club lost the battle around Dean Huijsen. Other clubs offered him more playing time, including Bournemouth.

The Cherries had the last word in this case, ahead of Stuttgart and Bayer Leverkusen in particular. The 19-year-old Dutch-Spanish has just signed “a long-term contract” in favor of the recent 12th in the Premier League in exchange for a check for €15 million (plus €4 million in bonuses). He played for Juventus, who had loaned him to Roma for the second half of the season.
