The creator of Dragon Ball Z has just passed away. His works have greatly inspired the world of football.
Akiro Toriyama, the father of Dragon Ball Z, died this Friday at the age of 68. This manga author leaves behind a great legacy, but also and above all millions of admirers around the world.
Between 1984 and 1995, he made his mark by publishing 42 volumes on the martial arts prodigy Son Goku. A creation which then generated cartoons, films and even video games. Several generations have grown up with it.

In the world of football, we have often paid tribute to him. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and André Pierre-Gignac used to celebrate their goals by reproducing the gestures of the key character from Dragon Ball Z. Furthermore, we have very often seen supporters making tifos from this famous comic book. This was the case with PSG fans or those of WA Casablanca in Morocco.
With his disappearance, Toriyama will leave a big void in all manga fans. But there is no doubt that in the days to come many will show their esteem for him. And this could give rise to remarkable creations in different football arenas.
