Gracie Abrams is back with a new track, and it’s called “Death Wish.” The song first debuted live at the O2 Arena back in March of 2025 during the London stop of the singer-songwriter’s The Secret of Us Tour, and now it’s out as of Tuesday (April 1)! She also revealed the meaning behind the song before its live debut. “This song is about a friend of mine who recently was dating, like, a mega narcissist. […] A sincere friend of mine was recently dating someone who kind of sucked. And I was listening to them talk about it a lot, and so this song is about that!” she said. On March 31, Gracie shared a clip of the live performance to Instagram to announce that the live recording would be released that night. “This is the first and only time I’ve played this song, but I wanted you to have this version before anything else. Thank you to everyone who was in the room that night. I love you and I miss you and maybe you’ll be able to hear yourself in the recording x,” she wrote.
