The strategic collaboration aims to advance building artificial intelligence (AI)and seamlessly integrate it into blockchain technology.

io.net, a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) that deploys and manages on-demand, decentralized GPU clusters, announced a strategic partnership with Solana-based TARS Protocol, an AI-driven, scalable Web 3 infrastructure platform aiming to advance AI models in the Web 3 space. The symbiotic partnership will see the two technology firms explore a range of integrations and initiatives to advance and enhance the adoption and building of decentralized AI services and Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS) solutions.

In addition, the partners will share their technologies and expertise to help developers build cutting-edge solutions and tools for both AI and Web 3 ecosystems. Combining their strengths, TARS Protocol and io.net will allow a seamless integration of AI with blockchain technology, accelerating the transition from Web2 to Web3 for organizations and developers.

Popular as the internet of GPUs, io.net offers developers, users and builders the power to unlock unused global GPU resources via a single click. Via its DePIN, the platform provides on-demand GPU instant and permissionless access to the internet of GPUs, reducing the cost and time to access these resources. The partnership will see io.net provide its network of over 11,000 distributed devices (GPUs and CPUs) to the TARS AI Hub, enabling faster and more efficient deployment of AI models.

Notwithstanding, the integration of the internet of GPUs will provide TARS users with access to io.net’s decentralized GPU clusters, cutting AI model training costs by up to 30%, while ensuring the scalability and performance needed for complex AI applications.

On the other hand, io.net will benefit from the influx of new users on TARS Protocol, further expanding its GPU network and enhancing the decentralization of io.net.

The strategic collaboration is expected to open up new opportunities for ecosystem growth – both in decentralized AI and machine learning – helping the ecosystem push its boundaries technically and strategically.

The partnership announcement also confirmed a joint roadmap that will feature key co-marketing activities in the coming six months aimed at driving innovation across TARS protocol and io.net and benefiting the 1,000+ developers and businesses across both platforms. Finally, these developers will enjoy quicker AI deployments, reduced costs, and greater flexibility, all within a more decentralized infrastructure.
