Deepika Padukone On Motherhood
Speaking at the prestigious Forbes 30/50 Global Summit in Abu Dhabi, Deepika candidly shared her thoughts on balancing professional commitments with motherhood. She said, “I think where I’m at in my life right now is figuring out how to manage my time as a new mother, while also returning to work. And I’m sure there are some incredible women here who can share their wisdom with me. It’s about finding a way to balance my daughter’s needs with my career without experiencing mom guilt. I wouldn’t say I’m struggling with it, but I’m still figuring it out.”
The actress also reflected on how motherhood may influence her future film choices. “Motherhood has been such an incredible experience, and I’m sure, even if not consciously, it will influence the kind of movies and roles I choose in the future. However, I believe I have always been quite conscious and aware about my choices even before embracing motherhood,” she added.
On The Work Front
Meanwhile, rumors have been swirling about Deepika making a grand comeback with none other than Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh. Speculation suggests that the two might collaborate on a special music video, choreographed by Farah Khan, the iconic director who launched Deepika’s Bollywood career with ‘Om Shanti Om’ in 2007. While nothing has been confirmed yet, fans are eagerly waiting for an official announcement!
