Demi Moore Brushes Off Mikey Madison Bitterness Rumors With This Message!

Demi Moore isn’t letting her surprising Oscars loss get her down.

At the 97th annual Academy Awards on Sunday, The Substance star lost out on Best Actress to some tough competition: Mikey Madison for her role in Anora. Demi is a lot of things, but what she isn’t is a poor sport! So she’s shutting down all the rumors that suggest otherwise on the heels of her loss!

On Monday, the 62-year-old took to Instagram to share a Reel of footage from her before and after process getting ready for and decompressing from the coveted awards show — salty french fries and all. But SHE ain’t salty! In her caption, she reflected:

“As this awards season comes to a close, I’m so overwhelmed with gratitude for this journey. It’s been the ride of a lifetime and we’re just getting started! So grateful for my team, my fellow nominees, and everyone who has made this experience so full of joy and light.”

She went on to thank everyone who was a part of The Substance, including co-star Margaret Qualley and writer/director Coralie Fargeat:

“Thank you to the cast, crew, and fans of @trythesubstance — @isimostar and @coralie_fargeat it’s been such an honor to work alongside you, learn from you, and celebrate this film with you.”

So sweet. She really did go on a historical run with all the awards she won up until the Oscars — from the Golden Globes to the SAG Awards.

The Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle concluded her message by directly congratulating Mikey:

“And a huge congratulations to #MikeyMadison — can’t wait to see what you do next
