In a new interview, the 62-year-old Oscar nominee opened up about how her ex-husband Bruce, who is currently battling dementia, is an important part of her family’s life. Keep reading to find out more… The Substance star says that she visits Bruce weekly to support him and their daughters, Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 30. “We will always be a family, just in a different form. For me, there was never a question. I show up because that’s what you do for the people you love,” Demi told Variety. “I hope it’s encouraging for others to see that there’s a different way to do things. There is life after divorce. There is a way to co-parent with love,” she added. Bruce‘s family revealed his frontotemporal dementia diagnosis in early 2023. In December 2024, his wife Emma Heming posted a sweet shoutout celebrating their 17th anniversary, acknowledging the “heaviness in her heart.”
