Deonna Purrazzo could be the latest AEW star to lead her own faction, according to reports.

The former TNA Knockouts Champion has been presented well since debuting in AEW in January this year. She featured in a world championship feud with Toni Storm, while beating Thunder Rosa numerous times in the summer.

However, Tony Khan may have even bigger plans for the former TNA star.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported that AEW have been in talks to build a faction around Deonna Purrazzo. No information was given as to who would join her, nor what this group of wrestlers would be named.

The Virtuosa was affiliated with Tyra Valkyrie during his summer rivalry with Thunder Rosa. However, whether she will be a part of this planned group remains to be seen.

“There’s been talk of building a faction around Deonna Purrazzo.” Mike Johnson wrote.

While her AEW run has been a success so far, Deonna Purrazzo had offers from the WWE to return to the company last year.

“I did. It kind of came down to a few weeks before I was a free agent of talking to everybody,” she said. “Talking to Triple H and William Regal. I talked to, obviously, Tony Khan. Trying to figure out what the best decision for me was going to be. I felt, ultimately, back before I went to NXT the first time, I was supposed to be on All In. I was supposed to be doing all these great things, going back to Japan, [and] I gave all of that up to go to NXT. It didn’t work out. I was very bitter about that, but it just didn’t work out.”
