As we inch closer towards AEW Revolution, the women’s division look to continue to make their mark here tonight on AEW Dynamite.
Stardom’s Momo Watanabe has chosen to go after Mercedes Moné’s TBS title at AEW Revolution. Moné already has a win against Watanabe after their NJPW Strong Women’s Championship bout, but Watanabe is determined to stop the Moné train.
Backstage, Moné isn’t too thrilled to face Watanabe again. But, the Moné train suddenly runs into Billie Starkz. After knocking a drink out of her hands, Starkz has some choice words to say about The CEO and tells her to “watch her back.” Suddenly, Watanabe herself appears and says come Revolution she’s taking the TBS title.
Also tonight, after continuous attacks at the hands of Marina Shafir, Willow Nightingale finally gets her revenge after a vicious brawl between Jay White and Cope vs The Death Riders.
After an impressive bout in her home country of Australia, Harley Cameron is back in action tonight taking on Deonna Purrazzo. Cameron’s first win was against Purazzo’s partner, Taya Valkyrie, a few weeks ago. Both having been a thorn at her side, Cameron looks to get another one up on them tonight.
Purrazzo’s experience edge over Cameron is evident, but Cameron proves that she can catch up with the former champion. Cameron heads high risk, but gets caught and spills to the outside.
The match is all Purrazzo until Cameron turns it around with a kick hung up on the corner. The fans are behind Cameron as she hits her finish and gets a clean 1-2-3.
