Deputy Speaker pays courtesy visit to NNPC boss over daughter's death
The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, has paid a courtesy visit to the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, Mele Kyari, over the recent loss of his daughter, Fatima Kyari.
This was disclosed in pictures shared on X.com by the NNPC on Friday.
The caption read, “Yesterday in Abuja, the Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu paid a condolence visit to the GCEO of NNPC Ltd, Mallam Mele Kyari, over the recent death of the GCEO’s daughter, Fatima Mele Kyari.”
PUNCH Online reports that Fatima died on the 11th of October after a protracted illness at the age of 25.
