Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly been in contact with his kids over the phone from jail following his sex trafficking arrest.

The embattled rapper, 54, has “been able to speak briefly to family members and his children via phone,” a source with knowledge of the situation told People in an article published Monday.

The insider added that the father of 7 is “very concerned” about his kids’ “well-being.”

“He has three minor children, two of whom now have no living parent available with him incarcerated. Four of his seven children have neither parent available with him incarcerated,” the source added.

A second source close to the family claimed that Comb’s children are “in a state of crisis and shock” amid the accusations.

“It’s heartbreaking to see the children in the state they’re in,” the source told the outlet. “This is their father. But to them, he’s not Diddy — he’s Dad. He has always been a loving, devoted father.”

Combs shared son Christian, 26, and daughters Jessie, 17, and D’Lila, 17, with his late wife Kim Porter, who died in 2018 at the age of 47. Combs later adopted Porter’s son Quincy, 33, whom the model shared with Al B. Sure!.

Last week, a source claimed that Combs “desperately” wanted to speak to his kids while behind bars at the City of New York Department of Corrections.

The source told TMZ at the time that his family was “leaning on each other for support” and “turning to God for guidance and strength.”

The “I’ll Be Missing You” artist was reportedly placed on suicide watch after being denied bail.

Combs was arrested on Sept. 16 and charged with three counts: racketeering conspiracy; sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; and transportation to engage in prostitution.

According to an unsealed indictment, prosecutors claimed the rapper “abused, threatened and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation and conceal his conduct” for decades, “creating a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in … sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice.”

He pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Diddy’s fall from grace began in November 2023 when his ex-girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, filed a lawsuit accusing him of raping and physically abusing her throughout their 10-year relationship. They settled the suit the next day.

Combs again made headlines when a shocking video surfaced in May 2024 of the music mogul beating Cassi in a hotel in 2016.

The record producer initially denied the singer’s sexual abuse claims but was forced to eat crow after the footage went viral and called his actions “inexcusable.”
