Diana Strong comments on a big milestone achievement.
On July 7, Diana Strong and Iva Kolasky made history as the first ever all-female main event in the history of Poland. This particular feat was reached at the Tauron Arena in Krakow, Poland when Strong and Kolasky collided in singles action for Prime Time Wrestling. During a recent interview with WrestleZone’s Ella Jay, Strong opened up what this feat personally meant to her.
“It meant a lot to me because on this day, I could finally show people that women wrestling is really important and we can also be the main event,” Strong said. “So that was a very important day for me. It was really crazy. And I really liked the energy. The crowd was really crazy, so then I could see people really are into women’s wrestling. That’s really cool that they want to see more and more matches and we can prove that, yeah, we are on the same level, so that’s cool.”
Strong’s wrestling career began with a training camp in the Polish city of Gdynia in 2017. Since then, she’s spread her name across the likes of Austria, Finland, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Hungary, and Germany. Next month, Strong will set out for a tour of the United States, with appearances at 1PW, Maryland Championship Wrestling, and Adrenaline Championship Wrestling.
