Sean “Diddy” Combs‘ legal team is making some big claims about the federal government. In newly filed court documents, representative for the 54-year-old musician said the Department of Homeland Security “orchestrated” the leak of security footage that appeared to show Diddy assaulting his ex, Cassie in a hotel hallway. Keep reading to find out more… The documents were obtained by TMZ. In them, Diddy‘s team is after an evidentiary hearing so that a judge can determine what happened and correct anything out of order. The security footage in question leaked earlier this year. It seemingly corroborated claims that the “Me & U” singer made in a lawsuit that was filed and settled out of court the next day. We will update you as we learn more. Since then Diddy has been arrested and is currently behind bars in Brooklyn, New York. He faces charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. This month, it was reported that the embattled rapper faced additional sexual assault charges from 120 people. Earlier this week, Diddy‘s mom responded to the charges leveled against her son.
