This Thursday, Didier Deschamps unveiled his first list of 23 players for 2024 to challenge Germany and Chile. Two important friendly matches to refine your team.

For the second time, Warren Zaire-Emery is called up by the national coach. The Parisian titi is one or even the French revelation of this 2023/2024 financial year.

This Sunday, on the show Telefoot, Didier Deschamps spoke about the young 18-year-old midfielder. For him, it was obvious to call him back to this list.

“You don’t start at 18 at a club like Paris Saint-Germain by chance. Obviously, he has steps to take, but already what he is capable of doing is very interesting for us,” did he declare.

Possible starter against Germany?

The France team has quality players. Especially in midfield with players like Aurélien Tchouameni, Adrien Rabiot, Eduardo Camavinga and especially Antoine Griezmann. Competition is tough in the midfield and places are expensive.

Although he has just arrived and established himself as the youngest member of the squad, Zaire-Emery also has his say in finding a place. It is not impossible that he will start the match against Germany to make his mark in this team. During his first selection he only played 20 minutes of play. More details in the coming days. But what is certain is that he will have a lot of playing time.
