Dirty Dango knows that sometimes the best things happen by accident.

TNA Wrestling‘s Dirty Dango recently sat down with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard. When asked about his “No Gimmicks Needed” character, Dango revealed how it happened by accident due to a misunderstanding with his gear maker.

“I asked my gear maker to make [the gear say] ‘All Gimmicks Needed’ because that’s my gimmick. I’m a gimmick,” Dirty Dango said. “He put the Chris Candido ‘No Gimmicks Needed’ on the back of my gear. I just said, ‘Screw it, I’ll just wear it.’ I was like, ‘Whatever. I already paid for the gear. I’m not sending it back.'”

When asked about his construction job outside of professional wrestling, Dango said that’s his weekday job, and he wrestles on the weekends, which has kept him very busy.

“I’m doing a residential split ranch right now,” Dirty Dango said. “I’m actually driving in between projects, and I’m doing a three-unit commercial build in downtown Portland, Maine. Right now, I’m just dealing with permitting and easements and attorneys. So I’m going back and forth right now. So when I’m home Monday through Friday, it’s 6 a.m. gym, work 9a.m to 7 p.m., and then wrestle on the weekends. It’s been busy the last year.”

Can we fix it? No, it’s f*cked!

When it was suggested that he should take on a Bob The Builder-type gimmick with the “Can we fix it? No, it’s f*cked” tagline from the meme, Dango liked the idea and took it a step further.

“Then I come out dressed as [William] Regal, a real man with the hard hat,” Dirty Dango said. “I think you might be onto something there. I’ll end up doing it. And you’d be like, ‘That son of a bitch. He stole my idea.'”
