The verdict has been given for Faris Moumbagna, who was seriously injured in the knee.

It was the biggest black spot of the day for Olympique de Marseille. During the very large victory in Brest (1-5), the Phocéens lost Faris Moumbagna to injury.

A long absence was feared for the Cameroonian striker, and the disaster has been confirmed. Moumbagna is suffering from “a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.”

“A surgical procedure has been scheduled for this week,” adds OM. Deprived of Moumbagna for around six months, the Olympian club will start looking for an additional attacker. The Martin Satriano (ex-Brest) track is mentioned.
