District SP Rohith Raju Presents Reward Cheques to Surrendered Maoists

BADRADRIKOTHAGUDEM: District Superintendent of Police (SP) Rohith Raju, IPS, handed over reward cheques to five former members of the banned CPI Maoist party at a special event held at Chintur Police Station. These Maoist members recently surrendered to the authorities as part of a government initiative aimed at rehabilitating those who give up violence.

SP Rohith Raju spoke at the event, highlighting the government’s dedication to helping surrendered Maoists start a new, peaceful life. He encouraged other Maoist members to follow the same path and return to society for a better future. The government is fully committed to ensuring their rehabilitation and support.

The event was attended by Additional SP T. Sai Manohar, SB Inspector Srinivas, Chintur CI Raju Varma, and SI Narsireddy, among others.

Rewards for the surrendered Maoists were as follows:

– Wife of Linga, Resident of Pottamangu

– Reward: ₹4,00,000

2. Madakam Linga (alias Rakesh)

– Son of Chukka, Resident of Pottamangu

– Reward: ₹4,00,000

3. Madivi Bhadrayya (alias Budhra/Krishna)

– Son of Bheemayya, Resident of Errampadu

– Reward: ₹4,00,000

4. Kattam Pojjayya

– Son of Ganga, Resident of Puttapadu

– Reward: ₹40,000

5. Kalmu Budhra

– Son of Doola, Resident of Puttapadu

– Reward: ₹20,000

The government continues to call upon other Maoist members to surrender and take advantage of the rehabilitation programs aimed at ensuring a peaceful life for all those who choose to reintegrate into society.
