‘Doctor Who’ Episode Titles Unveiled, New Guest Star Added To Season Premiere

The Doctor Who simultaneous global premiere arrives in May, and the episode titles for the season have now been revealed.

In addition, another guest star has been added to the cast. In the Julie Anne Robinson directed Space Babies, Golda Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story) joins Doctor Who as Jocelyn.

“It’s been amazing to see the whole world appreciate Golda’s talents, because of Bridgerton, and it’s been an absolute joy to invite her to Cardiff to help launch Ncuti and Millie’s first season,” said Russell T Davies, the Doctor Who showrunner.

New episodes will debut weekly across BBC iPlayer, BBC One and outside of the UK on Disney+ (where available), with the Steven Moffat-penned adventure Boom up next, followed by 73 Yards, Dot and Bubble, Rogue, and a two-part finale spread across two weeks, The Legend of Ruby Sunday and Empire of Death.

Other guests this season include Callie Cooke, Dame Siân Phillips, Alexander Devrient, Bhav Joshi, Majid Mehdizadeh-Valoujerdy, Tachia Newall and Caoilinn Springall. They join the previously announced guests Michelle Greenidge, Angela Wynter, Anita Dobson, Aneurin Barnard, Yasmin Finney, Jonathan Groff, Gwïon Morris Jones, Bonnie Langford, Genesis Lynea, Jemma Redgrave, Lenny Rush and Indira Varma.

The new season of Doctor Who will premiere simultaneously for the first time on BBC iPlayer and Disney+. In the UK, the first two new episodes of the season will premiere at on May 11th on BBC iPlayer, and then on BBC One later that day. Episodes will drop on BBC iPlayer followed by a primetime slot on BBC One each week following that.

Outside the UK, Doctor Who begins streaming 10th May at 7:00 p.m. ET on Disney+ where available, giving audiences a simultaneous global launch.
