The Assessment
Deadline reports Magnolia Pictures has acquired the right to The Assessment, a new sci-fi film starring Alicia Vikander, Elizabeth Olsen and Himesh Patel already set to release in theaters this March 21. Directed by Fleur Fortuné, the story follows “Mia (Olsen) and Aaryan (Patel), a successful couple who hope to become parents in a near future where resources are extremely limited and the government keeps firm control over reproduction. In looking to do so, the pair are assigned an assessor named Virginia (Vikander), who moves into their home for seven days to evaluate whether they deserve to move forward in their parenting journey. What Mia and Aaryan are hoping is a routine test quickly unravels into a psychological nightmare, forcing them to question the very foundations of their society and what it truly means to be human.”

Fantastic Four: First Steps
According to the UK theater chain Odeon, Fantastic Four: First Steps runs 140 minutes long.

Daredevil: Born Again
During a recent interview with TV Line, Daredevil: Born Again directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead hyped both one-take fight scene from the series’ premiere episode, a “nasty” fight at the end of episode two during a recent interview with TV Line.
There’s that yell at the end that we absolutely love. It’s so nasty, the nastiest fight.
In the same piece, showrunner Dario Scardapane singled out a fight at the end of episode six as their favorite.
[Stunt coordinator/2nd unit director] Phil Silvera did something, and I can’t say anything more than that, that you don’t notice at first…And then when you tap into what he’s pulled off…we were all blown away.
Each [fight] has a different tone, each one has a different level of mayhem. Fans will have a bonanza of creativity to enjoy!
Doctor Who
The BBC’s official Doctor Who website has released a new image of Mr. Ring-a-Ding, a villainous cartoon character voiced by Alan Cumming who lives “a happy, funny, singalong” life in his cartoon world playing across cinemas, before becoming aware of the real world beyond screens.
