For one reason or another, something goes wrong with almost everything they do behind the scenes and there is little way around it. That does not mean it will be the case forever though, as some people can change their ways and have positive results all around. We might be seeing that again.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The War Is Over? Major Update On MJF’s AEW Contract Status
This week’s Monday Night Raw featured an in-ring segment between CM Punk, Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre. According to PWTorch, the segment was designed to lean into “shoot” territory between Rollins and Punk, who are said to have real issues between the two of them. In this case, the two are willing to put their issues aside for the save of business. In addition, Punk is getting a positive reception for how he is handling himself during his current run in WWE. He is currently out of action while recovering from a torn tricep and is set to be the guest commentator for McIntyre vs. Rollins at WrestleMania 40.
There is something to it. Check out some of the segment, plus the three arguing:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that you do not see very often but the segment was reaching special territory. It shows just how good Punk can be on the microphone and it is nice to see him getting to showcase those talents. He might not be able to get in the ring again anytime soon, but WWE is certainly pushing the idea of a feud between Punk and at least one of them, which should make for a good showdown at some point.
