Doja Cat is sticking up for herself. On Sunday night (March 2), the 29-year-old Grammy-winning rapper performed “Diamonds Are Forever” during the James Bond tribute at the 2025 Academy Awards. The day after the big event, Doja took to Instagram to respond to backlash over her performance. I know a lot of people didn’t like it but a lot of people did and I feel good that I pushed myself.” She continued, “The song is a classic and I put a lot of work into it but the nerves got to me and a b-tch hit some flats. I can’t wait to do something like that again. What a blessing that was. I feel amazing about the whole thing.
